Handover answer sheets of students under RTI: Supreme Court

Supreme Court has permitted the disclosure of answer sheets of any examination conducted by any agency in India under the Right to Information Act (RTI). The bench of justices made it clear that the bodies conducting examinations could not retain the answer sheets. The bench of justices also upheld a Calcutta High Court order, permitting students to inspect and photocopy their answer sheets in any educational or professional examination.
