The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) on 27th July 2011 launched three courses focusing on raising more educational opportunities for Medical, Nursing and Teaching personnel, an official said. According to a varsity official, the two certificate courses and one diploma programme will be offered by the university through distance education mode. The Adolescent Health and Counselling course will prepare teachers and parents to help adolescents to develop a healthy lifestyle and handle stress, he said.
