IIT JEE may be stopped!

The government has decided to scrap all the engineering exams from 2013-14. There will be a single common entrance test for engineering exams and there will be one merit list on the basis of which institutes including IITs will have to pick students. Students will also be counseled before they choose a course and this test will be similar to common entrance exams for medical courses beginning next year.
