Weightage to Summative Assessement revised by CBSE

The weightage to various assessments will be as detailed below for classes up to IX

FA1 - 10%

FA2 - 10%

SA1 - 30%

FA3-10%

FA 4-10%

SA2 -30%

Thus the two terms have equal weightage for promotion and formative assessment will have 40% weightage and Summative assessment will have 60%  weightage for promotion
