Hundreds Of Indian Students Face Deportation From US

The fake university scam in the US has left hundreds of Indian students in the lurch. The federal investigating authorities shut down The Tri-Valley University in Pleasanton, California, popularly known as the Silicon Valley, on charges of a massive immigration fraud and indulging in money laundering. Out of the 1,555 students enrolled at the university, 95 per cent are Indian nationals and most of them are from Andhra Pradesh. Many of these students have been made to wear collars with radio trackers to record their movements. The Indian government has taken a strong stand against the move and has urged US authorities not to tag its students like criminals. US, however, justified radio ankle monitors saying that probe is still on in the case and it takes visa frauds very seriously.
